Marc Huebert Sedona Artist Bio

Marc Huebert moved to the Sedona area in 2020 from his native state Colorado and has been voraciously attempting to document the local landscape ever since. Marc starts all his works en plain air then applies various media in the studio to achieve a unique finish that references printmaking and cartography while still retaining the energy of the initial sketch. His moody and mysterious moonlight effect paired with an almost map like attention to the horizon line and spatial relationships make for a tension between representative and expressive themes that we find very compelling.
