  Jerry Pond is local Plein Air artist, born and raised in Ottawa Canada. Pond studied at the American Academy of Art in Chicago and later taught etching at the Palette and Chisel Academy of Fine Art in Chicago.In 1999 he moved to the Verde Valley this is when he developed a love for painting on the land.
