Zsolnay Eosin Cow figure irredentist Hungarian porcelain cow

This is a gorgeous little eosin cow figurine from the renowned Zsolnay Pécs Hungary Porcelain Manufacture. The eosin process that was introduced in 1893 is a special technique by which the eosin glaze renders porcelain to appear iridescent metallic, in different colors that change with the angle of reflection. Typical colors include shades of green, red, blue, and purple. This rare piece has mainly green, blue and golden colors.
