In her words, "The essence of the Goddess is in all of us. The ritual and remembrance of the Goddess brings a blessing into your life. Place her on your altar and fill her bowl with an offering of flower blossoms, a gem, grain, or a poem. These offerings are clear intentional blessings of the Goddess and she will be with you throughout your day. Your awareness of her presence will guide your actions in healing and healthy ways.
This piece is a hand sculpted stoneware to be used as an altar bowl or just to admire her beauty anywhere. She has gone through many transformations from manipulated clay to a fired piece of sacred art. To give her unique glazed texture she is brushed with oxide stain, spritzed with vinegar, glazed and fired twice."
Elizabeth Gerstner, features sacred Goddesses. The Goddess has been a metaphysical journey as her figurines are symbolic of “geometric motifs" that have been Pagan earth-centered culture through time. Elizabeth’s creative process is intuitive as the Goddess regenerates from clay into a sacred piece of art.
