From childhood Lauren Sarantopulos's roots have intertwined both nature and art. Raised in Colorado and Wyoming these wildly beautiful states left their impression. Growing up she spent her days exploring the outdoors spending time amongst the wildlife. As Lauren's fascination with nature and interest in art grew, she began painting the animals she loved to observe as a means of developing her unique style.
In Spring 2020 she earned a degree in environmental biology from Northern Arizona University and spent several seasons as a wildlife technician in both Yellowstone and Grand Canyon National Park. She hopes that her passion for the environment and the arts will bring attention to the importance of wildlife conservation.
From the artist:
”I believe giving back to the wild is imperative to its protection, and to play my part a percentage of my sales are donated to Defenders of Wildlife. Defenders of Wildlife is a U.S.-based national conservation organization dedicated to the protection and restoration of imperiled species and their habitats in North America.”
